CAR SIDE MIRROR COVERS TO PREVENT FROST AND SNOW DEPOSITION

The removable mirror covers were introduced in 2008 to keep side mirrors clean for safe driving conditions.

Side mirrors of vehicles parked outside during winter months are often covered with frost and snow (see two pictures). Side mirror covers will keep them clean for safe driving. They are easy to place over mirrors and also easy to take out.

For proper fit to majority of vehicles, three sizes – small, medium and large are introduced and their pictures are shown below.

To find out which size is appropriate for your car, measure the maximum circumference of the mirror using a tape as shown.

If maximum circumference is 18 inches or less, then use small cover; if maximum circumference is between 18 – 21 inches, use medium cover; if maximum circumference is between 21 – 24 inches, use large size cover.

In the picture to the left, the maximum circumference is 13” and hence it is best to use the small size (green) cover.

Car models and corresponding side mirror cover sizes are shown in Table below. Mirror size may change with model year and hence it is recommended that you find out the maximum circumference before placing the order.
